Movies Watched

Telugu

Sontham – comedy.. Sakuntala’s part is the best.. not much of a story, but worth the time for sake of the comedy.

Santhosham – Nagarjuna’s lively role makes it a good movie to watch.

Dum Dum Dum - Dubbed comedy. Interesting and different story.

Rakshana - A good reflection on our 'rakshana' system.

Hindi

RK's Mera naam joker - Heart moving masterpiece.

Nikaah - Unique story line - good to watch.

God mother - Typical village feuds, except that it's a lady who is at the helm.

Style - First scene gives recognition to the fact that decent families suffer from a wrong choice of their 'bahu'.

Maa Tujhe salaam - Gives insights into Kashmir issue; rest is a typical Sunny Deol movie.

Koyi dil se pochche - Hindi version of Telugu 'Pelli'. Somebody was commenting that Sridevi watches telugu movies and suggests her husband to bring them out in hindi. Sharukh Khan's copycat role is a highlight - particularly for the laugh.

Tumko na bhool paayenge - Interesting story - suspense, romance, and other filmi elements.

Filhaal - Dragging - saw the first half

Moksha - Sounded like a Pink Floyd video - but the story is unique and the action is ok.

Daman - Saw some scenes and gave it up - too much cruelty. I really wonder why Raveena got the best actress award for this film.

English

Hidden Agenda - Serious movie; more like a documentary on the plight of Irish.

Showtime - Hilarious; worth a watch.

Domestic Disturbance - Interesting story line, great action.

In the Bedroom - Close to reality, but very slow. Worth the time.

Ocean's 11 - Hi-tech crimes - more like a sci-fi story - not my cup of tea.

Don't say a word - suspense. Can miss it.

Tamil

Minnale - Unique story, excellent action, great songs.

Rhythm - Neat theme. Excellent performances. Good story.
